The Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press is a nonprofit organization that has provided free legal information, resources and advocacy to protect the First Amendment and Freedom of Information Rights of U.S. journalists for more than 40 years. It serves over 2,000 journalists, editors and media lawyers yearly and never charges for its services.
