Sergio Goldenberg is a Digital Media researcher and PhD Candidate from Georgia Tech working on the intersection of Computer Science and Journalism, specifically on how to redefine the News Story through novel storytelling structures that use semantic web and visualization technologies. He has over 12 years of experience in the media industry, specifically television and digital media, from a professional and academic perspective. He also holds a Master in Digital Media and a Journalism degree and currently he is the Senior UX Lead at Turner Broadcasting's newest multi-platform property: Upwave.com (Health and Wellness). His interests span across storytelling, online journalism, information visualization, interactive television, web development, and technology in general.
