Peter Dykstra is publisher of the nonprofit news websites EnvironmentalHealthNews.org and DailyClimate.org Staffed by refugees from "traditional" media, EHN and TDC produce world-class original journalism and aggregate roughly 200 stories per day on science, health, climate and the environment. He was a Deputy Director at the Pew Charitable Trusts and in a 17-year career at CNN, oversaw science, environment and weather coverage and shared an Emmy, Peabody and DuPont-Columbia Award. He resides a half-hour from Atlanta in Conyers, the Gateway to Georgia's church-burning region.
