Pablo Mercado has been hacking on Vox Media's Chorus platform since it was nothing more than an empty subversion repo, a whiteboard with a jumble of boxes and arrows on it and a Linux server plugged into the same kitchen wall socket as the toaster-oven. As a founding member of the Vox Media Product team and VP of Technology, Pablo has been responsible for the architecture, development and operation of Vox Media's Chorus platform and other technology assets as they have evolved and scaled to reach an audience of millions. He has two speeds: sleep and hungry.
