Mindy McAdams teaches production and theory courses about interactive media and digital journalism. She joined the journalism faculty at the University of Florida in 1999. Her book "Flash Journalism: How to Create Multimedia News Packages" was published by Focal Press/Elsevier in 2005. She has trained more than 400 journalists in digital skills and has led journalist training workshops in Argentina, Bulgaria, Laos, Singapore, South Africa and Vietnam on missions for the U.S. State Department. Before moving to Florida, she worked at The Washington Post and at Time magazine in New York.
