Lindsey Cook is a senior student at The University of Georgia studying journalism and computer science. She is one of ONA's AP-Google scholars and is studying recruitment and retention of women in computing. After graduation in May 2014, Lindsey hopes to use her skills in journalism and coding for an online media job specializing in news applications, data projects or interactive graphics. She has worked at The Washington Post, Voice of America, The Athens Banner-Herald and The Red & Black student newspaper.
