Keith W. Jenkins

Keith Jenkins is a director of photography at National Geographic where he oversees the Society’s online photographic presence and staff. Previously, he served as the Supervising Senior Producer for Multimedia at NPR.org. Prior to joining NPR, he spent 13 years at The Washington Post, where he was a staff photographer, photography editor and Deputy Assistant Managing Editor for Photo. He also was the first photography director at washingtonpost.com and AOL. In 2007 Jenkins was the photo editor for The Washington Post's Pulitzer Prize-winning series on Walter Reed Army Medical Center. In 2011 he received an Emmy as a senior producer on NPR Music's 'Project Song - Moby'.
