Robert Niles

Robert's ThemeParkInsider.com has been named the top theme park site on the Internet by Forbes and Travel + Leisure magazines and has been a finalist for the Webby Award for best Guide/Ratings/Reviews site. In 2001, ThemeParkInsider.com became the first website to win a major journalism award for a "citizen journalism" report when the ONA honored ThemeParkInsider.com with the Online Journalism Award for Service Journalism. Based on his experience running ThemeParkInsider.com and Violinist.com, Robert wrote "How to Make Money Publishing Community News Online," a guidebook for aspiring news entrepreneurs and journalism students. Robert is the former editor of OJR.org and has worked for the Los Angeles Times, Rocky Mountain News, Omaha World-Herald, and the Bloomington, Indiana Herald-Times. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and a native of Los Angeles.
