Kyle Stokes joined WFIU/WTIU News, the NPR member station and PBS affiliate in Bloomington, Ind., as an education reporter in 2011. As part of a collaboration with Indiana Public Broadcasting stations and NPR News, he helped launch the StateImpact Indiana education blog and reporting service. He came to Bloomington from Columbia, Mo., where he was a producer and reporter for NPR member station KBIA-FM and NBC affiliate KOMU-TV. Originally from Minneapolis, Minn., Stokes is a proud graduate of the Missouri School of Journalism, the winner of a 2013 National Edward R. Murrow Award and a 2013 Online News Association M.J. Bear Fellow.
