Get the early-bird rate to ONA13; fly, book, connect!

By / Jul 4, 2013

Great news: You now have until July 15 to register for the 2013 Online News Association Conference (Oct. 17-19) at the discounted early-bird rate — $439 for members and $769 for non-members.

We’ll be releasing the ONA13 program before the early-bird rate expires. Not an ONA member yet? A one-year professional membership is only $75.

Fly to ONA13 for less
We’ve secured a discount — 10 percent for full/non-restricted flights and 5 percent for restricted/discounted flights — for attendees who choose to fly on Delta Airlines. Reservations and ticketing are available via delta.com. Select “More Search Options” and enter the meeting code NMGE9 in the box provided on the Search Flight page.

Book your room at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis
If you plan to stay with us at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and haven’t yet booked your room yet, do it right away. People have been planning ahead this year and the discounted room block is nearly full. Book your room here.

Volunteer for the video team
Applications for general volunteers are closed, but we’re still looking for volunteers to work with our video team to document the conference. ONA13 will feature a number of creative spaces, from the Midway to live scenario simulations, workshops, and more. We’re looking for volunteers to take a storytelling approach to sharing experiences from the conference. If you applied to be a general volunteer, you should have heard about your assignment or been given the choice to be on the volunteer wait list.

Connect with ONA13 attendees
Want to touch base with other attendees before Oct. 17? We’re using the hashtag #ONA13 on Twitter. If you see a cheap flight you want to share, need to coordinate with other attendees or just want to express your excitement, share with the #ONA13 tag. Follow @ONAconf for updates.
